Hello you lovely subscribers. Some of you will remember the days of the Young Heretics community on Locals. I like to think of this Substack as sort of an updated and expanded version of that wonderful group, where friends can gather to discuss the quest for beauty and truth.

One thing I particularly enjoyed on Locals was writing out my own new translation of Paul’s Letter to the Romans, with some commentary that I added as a kind of group devotional during Advent. I’ve had some requests to post that work here, so I’m going now to re-introduce it for those that have chosen (very generously!) to support this Substack financially.
